Co-Occurring Intensive Outpatient Program
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to provide a heightened level of care for adolescents needing additional structure in addressing their mental health and substance use struggles while managing their everyday lives. IOP is a 6-8 week program, based on medical necessity, and can be significantly beneficial for individuals stepping down from inpatient or residential treatment or a way to prevent needing a higher level of care. Individuals in our IOP Program are able to function in their everyday life and community but need a comprehensive treatment plan and skills to be able to be successful. Our IOP Program is 4 days a week, Monday – Thursday, from 3pm-6pm, and encompasses a large variety of evidenced based treatment modalities and psychoeducational groups to help individuals in meeting their individual treatment goals.
True North Treatment Center’s IOP Program, is able to address both mental health and substance use issues simultaneously (co-occurring) and offers the following therapeutic interventions folded into our daily evidenced based curriculum. We believe that our program is unique to Northern Nevada in regard to our specialized integrative curriculum, the education and licensure of our high caliber clinical team, and our ability to individually customize the program to meet the specific treatment needs of each individual. We have outlined some of the characteristics of our IOP that set us apart within the community.
